Terms of use

Effective date: 5 November 2026. By using LumaRoom, you agree to use its educational information responsibly.

Educational purposes only

Our lighting descriptions, checklists, and estimates provide a starting point for thinking about comfort and product choices. They are not professional lighting designs, code-compliance documentation, or electrical installation instructions. We make no guarantee that a suggestion is suitable for a particular room or fixture.

Electrical work and safety

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable local rules. Use qualified professionals for wiring, electrical modifications, damp- or wet-location installations, and uncertain safety issues. Stop using equipment that sparks, smokes or smells burnt and seek appropriate assistance.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep information accurate, but products, specifications, standards and local rules change. Verify current details independently before acting on them. Tools may be revised or removed without notice.

Copyright and reuse

Unless otherwise indicated, our original written and illustrative materials are protected by applicable copyright. You may link to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution, but do not republish entire articles or present the site as your own.
